The Companions of Kenya, under the guidance of the Ambassador of the Orders Embassy to Kenya, HE Wilhelm von Trott zu Solz, embarks on a historic pilgrimage to Lourdes, only the second African country to do so.

Embassy of the Order to Kenya Facilitates Import of Urgently Needed Medical Equipment for a Remote Hospital in Kisii County

The Tabaka Mission Hospital was built some forty years ago initially as a child birth centre, run by the Camillian order. It then gradually expanded to offer other health care services including a nurse training unit. It is located in north-western Kenya, in Kisii county, one of the most economically disadvantaged areas in the country, with a high HIV prevalence rate.

Christmas with the Waithaka Special School

Aberdeen Women’s Centre – Sierra Leone

On the edges of a slum area of Aberdeen is a remarkable facility called the Aberdeen Women’s Centre (AWC). The running of AWC was taken over by Dame Ann Gloag, the is centre was taken over in 2008 and offers free medical care to women and children, up to the age of 15.
