Donation to Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital

Donation Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital
15/05/2021

The mission of the Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital (RUNH) in Nairobi is to ensure quality, affordable and accessible health care to the most vulnerable members of the Kenyan society where everyone fully enjoys his/her fundamental right to health.

RUNH was founded by World Friends in partnership with the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi and the Italian non-governmental organization CISP (International Committee for the Development of Peoples) and has been offering quality healthcare at affordable prices to the Nairobi communities since 2009, working closely with local clinics and organizations in informal settlements.

The Embassy of The Order of Malta in Nairobi has on several occasions shown its support to RUHN and in April 2021 at these very critical and oppressing times of the Covid19 pandemic we were able to provide the hospital with urgently needed masks, Sterile Disposable Gowns and Gloves thanks to a generous donation from a private person and friend of The Order of Malta in Kenya.  In this way we contributed to the essential task of the hospital to protect and safeguard the health of the doctors, nurses, staff and patients and as a consequence their respective families. In the name of the beneficiaries we thank the donor for this support!
