15 members of The Order of Malta Companions of Kenya recently visited Nyumba wa Wazee, a home for the elderly located in Nairobi Kenya. The visit was part of their ongoing commitment to serve the poor and vulnerable in society.
The visit was a deeply touching experience, filled with smiles, shared stories, and moments of genuine human connection. The Companions spent quality time with the residents, offering not only essential supplies such as food, toiletries, and medicine, but also their presence, care, and listening hearts.
The Companions visit was guided by love and respect for the elderly, many of whom have little family support. Through singing, prayer, and simple conversations, the Companions reminded the residents that they are not forgotten, and that they are valued and cherished.
